I was treated by Mr Subramanian in mid September 2021 for severe back pain requiring a lumber laminectomy and 4 element decompression. The operation appears from late November, to have been a success as my attendant sciatic pain is significantly diminished. There is a reasonable distance to go as the extent of the operation was quite serious. There is as I state, a very significantly diminished level of pain, which is currently controlled by prescribed medication. However the quality of my life is significantly improved when compared with pre operation. Following my recent consultation, Mr Subramanian reiterated that recovery shall take a significant period of time and continuing physiotherapy and exercise should improve the positive outcome of the operation. He stated that I must remain both positive and patient. Sadly as far as my own health is concerned patience is not one of my strongest virtues. The main issue is the discernible improvements which I can measure on a daily basis. They might be small, but as I state they are indeed measurable.
